Hello everyone,
I am building a fire fighting robot as my final year project. I will be using thermopile array for heat recognition.

Is there any other efficient sensor?

You can also use LDR to detect the fire and IR to detect the Heat.. For more info,i attached the project of Fire Fighting Robo using IR and LDR with circuit diagram and description...
