GATE Exam Preparation Tips
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) Exam is based on the comprehensive understanding of various subjects in Engineering & Science. GATE exam is jointly conducted by various IISc, Banglore and seven IITs(IITs at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee).
The GATE score of a candidate reflects a relative performance level in a particular subject in the exam.
The score is used for :
- Admissions to post-graduate programs. Students pursuing ME or M.Tech from any AICTE approved colleges are given financial assistance of about Rs. 8000 from MHRD.
- Employment purposes in Public and Private Sector Undertakings
