Splitting event sections into Symposium, Cultural, workshops and conference , and further symposiums into various departments will make users to browse the events they need easily.
I hope V+ will consider this.

ya .. i too support at CSERocker's post... making different departments in college events will make the users to easily identify symposium's and other programs as per their department...
