Virtual Box - Learn about different OS

hi friends,
using of different operating system becomes almost common.nowadays different operating systems are used by users..

each operating system has its own advantages..but installing all operating system in booting is not a good practice... this may harm our system and make our system slow.so installing all operating system can be avoided by using a software tool called "VIRTUAL BOX"..


advantages of virtual box:
1)number of os can be installed
2)only during run time of os,memory is taken
3)it can opened like a normal software by clicking it
4)it takes only less among the allocated memory
5)it allows us to gain knowledge about different operating system...

I prefer VMware for the automated installs and better performance. 
VirtualBox seemed to corrupt my Linux installs that use EXT4 might have been an issue with the host software on OpenSolaris.
