The Competitive Written Examination for filling up of vacant posts of 525 Technical Assistants, 50 Assistant Draughtsman and 900 Field Assistant (Trainee) in TANGEDCO by Direct Recruitment proposed to be held on 03.04.2016 through Anna University is postponed to 22.05.2016, since model code of conduct is in vogue. Other conditions remain unaltered.

The Competitive Written Examination will be conducted as per TANCET norms by Anna University, Chennai-25 during the month of April/May 2016. The exact date of competitive written examination will be placed in the website.

Note:
a) Candidates have also to pay the service charges as applicable to the bank.

As per the Interim direction in the WP No. 10374 of 2016 dated 18.03.2016 of Hon'ble High Court of Madras for the post of Technical Assistant Electrical and Technical Assistant Mechanical, the related branches of Graduate Engineers can also apply through online with immediate effect. While Uploading/Filing the applications, the Graduate Engineers may choose the corresponding diploma certificate field and upload the degree certificate. The result of the above applicants shall be subject to the outcome of the writ petition, without prejudice to TANGEDCO's right to vacate/challenge the interim order and further orders in WP No. 10374 of 2016. The other conditions remains unaltered.
