TANCET Raw Mark and Normalized Mark Details

TANCET 2015 Exam Results was announced Today (i.e on 12th June 2015). Result Consists of 2 Marks (Raw Mark and Normalized Mark) So Many Students got confused that which is the valid score and Which is considered for counseling. So This is the Special Thread to Explain about the Raw Mark and Normalised Mark.

The entrance test question paper for M.E./ M.Tech. / M.Arch. / M.Plan. will have two common parts namely, Part – I Engineering Mathematics and Part – II Basic Engg. & Sciences and Part – III meant for different disciplines. On evaluation, the mean (m) mark and the standard deviation (s) of raw marks ® may vary from discipline to discipline under Part – III. Marks will be normalised using the formula

Normalised marks = 40 + (10/s) (r – m)

This gives the relative ranking of the candidates in any discipline.

So Normalized mark is your TANCET Mark and it is considered for counseling.

What are the good colleges that I should look out for in Counseling ? Approximately When will the official/unofficial BC rank list be out ? Also ji do you know fees of TANCET candidate in PSG ?

Ya its applicable to M.B.A too.. All Three Colleges are best.. First Preference to Anna University CEG Campus.. and 2nd : PSG Coimbatore and 3rd Madras University... Also you can consider these Colleges too :

Marklist will be available from 19th June 2015 but Still There is no official information regarding the Rank List,.. We hope Random Number will be announced at last week of June and Rank List on 1st week of July..

We are not aware of Fees since it varies college to college, But it will be affordable fees since you are going through Counselling...
