Preface
Software Lab – III (SL-III) comprises two subjects Information & Cyber Security and Machine Learning. Machine Learning part contains the practical assignments to understand the different types of machine learning algorithms. The motivational factor towards the assignment implementation for the students is to know about the working of the recent developments in Machine Learning. Machine learning usually refers to the changes in systems that perform tasks associated with Artificial Intelligence (AI). Such tasks involve Classification, Regression, Recognition, Diagnosis, Prediction, etc. The changes might be either enhancements to already performing systems or a synthesis of new systems.
The problem statements included for various assignments are like self contend unit.
The prerequisites for various assignments are Linear Algebra & Calculus and Probability Theory. Also, Students must have programming exposure using JAVA because all the problem statements need to be implement using either in R. or WEKA,
We have selected WEKA tool for the implementation of assignments.Weka makes learning applied machine learning easy, efficient and fun. It is a GUI tool that allows you to load datasets, run algorithms and design and run experiments with results statistically robust enough to publish.
