Info on .shs file

I typed some important documents in Ms excel in Windows xp.....

And i copy it and try to open it in laptop containing windows 7

But Ms excel file is changed into .shs file.............!!!

I try to convert it into excel........but i cant

If anybody know to convert or open .shs file..............................?

Pls hlep me....... its very very very urgent

There are Two solution..
1. Open a Blank Microsoft Excel or word, Drag and Drop the .shs file to the blank excel or word...
(Note: This wont work on MS Office 2010)

2. Attachment and Use openoffice.org,
it supports .shs file..
