    Steps to calculate your Anna University exam marks and convert them to Grade 

    Anna university conduct the exam for 100 marks and finally convert them to 80 marks and they add the internal marks make them again to 100 marks.Internal marks are  purely based on Attendance,assignment and internal test performance 

    Procedure for converting  your external marks (100 marks to 80 marks)
      
    if get y marks out of 100 then follow the following procedures


    1.Multiple your marks with 8 i.e  y*8 = 8 y

    2.divide the above with 10 i.e 8y/10 = 0.8 y

    Examples 

    if y = 45
    then 0.8*45 = 36



    Alternate method 
    y= 45 
    45*8=360
    360/10=36

    if your internal marks 20 means 

    36+20=56 marks i.e   D GRADE


    Total marks(100) = external marks (80) + internal marks (20)

    Converting marks to grade 

    00-49    means      U  grade
    50-55    means      E  grade
    56-60    means      D  grade

    61-70    means      C  grade
    71-80    means      B  grade
    81-90    means      A  grade
    91-100  means      S  grade

    Convert CGPA To Percentage
    Percentage = CGPA * 10


    if your cgpa is 8.53 Means your percentage is 85.3%
