    PART A - (10 x 2 = 20 marks)
    1. Find the reflection coefficient of a 50 Q transmission line when it is terminated by a load impedance of 50 + j 75 Q.
    2. Sketch the voltage and current curve on a dissipation less line when the line is terminated by characteristics resistance Ro and 3Ro.
    3. Enumerate few applications of half-wave line.
    4. What is the procedure for finding the impedance from the given admittance using Smith chart.
    5. What is principal wave?
    6. Denote the expression that relates phase velocity (Vp), group velocity (Vg) and free space velocity ©.
    7. Why is the TEio wave calledas dominant wave in rectangular wave guide?
