ATTITUDES OF THE BEDS
It is to describe the structure produced by deformation processes and to indicate the direction and source of the force involved.
The attitude of a beds is its position as measured by an angle of inclination, or dip of the bedding which is the angle between the bedding plane and a horizontal plane and compass direction, or strik of the line formed by the intersection of stratum with a horizontal plane.
